Description
The AeroGard is easily to be mounted over the eyepieces of your binocular microscope head. The protective shield can be replaced in an instant between patients. Especially designed for the use with Labomed Prima Mu, Prima DNT, and Magna, but also suited for many other brands of medical microscopes.
The package consists of:
- 1 shield holder
- 20 protective shields
Following disinfectants are recommended for cleaning and disinfection:
- Normal household bleach (sodium hypochlorite 5%), strength 5000ppm (10 parts water 1 part bleach)
- 70% isopropyl alcohol
Autoclavable:
- Temperature: 134°C
- Time: 10 minutes
- Instrument: standard Autoclave
Procedure:
- Take a muslin cloth
- Moist it to feel wet
- Disinfect/clean the surface gently
Note
1. Use mask and gloves while performing cleaning and disinfection.
2. While cleaning, muslin cloth should not be dripped wet to prevent seepage and rusting to running/bare parts.
3. Alcohol is flammable, its use as a surface disinfectant should be in well-ventilated spaces only.
