The optical coupler is to adjust focus during surgery. Different sizes for different surgery. In general cases, for ENT and other 4mm, 3mm, and 2.7mm rigid endoscopes, such as cystoscopy, arthroscopy, hysteroscopy, etc. we suggest 14mm, 16mm, 18mm or 22mm optical coupler, for 10mm laparoscope, we suggest 25mm, 28mm, 32mm, 35mm or zoom coupler.
The optical coupler is a part of the complete endoscope camera system. It’s to connect the endoscope and camera system to adjust the size and definition of the surgery image.
